Every week throughout summer, Sporting Life will pick out five highlights so you never miss a beat.
Our writers will provide all of the key information such as TV channels and kick-off times, plus the latest odds from Sky Bet and, finally, their own unmissable verdict.
With Royal Ascot on the horizon and both the Women's World Cup and the Copa America ensuring that the football bandwagon rolls on, there's plenty to talk about across our key sports.
Golf majors in June and July, the ICC Cricket World Cup, Wimbledon and the World Athletics Championship are other main events we'll cover along with the latest from the world of darts.
We begin with five sporting highlights for the week ahead, from June 10-16.
Golf - US Open
When: Thursday June 13-Sunday June 16
Where: Pebble Beach, California
TV: Sky Sports Golf and Main Event
Sky Bet odds: 15/2 Koepka, 8/1 Johnson, 11/1 McIlroy, Woods
The third men's major of the season takes place at one of golf's most iconic venues, Pebble Beach, where Tiger Woods won by a remarkable 15 shots at the turn of the century.
Woods returns having collected his 15th major championship at Augusta in the spring, with four-time major winners Brooks Koepka and Rory McIlroy among those bidding to prevent him from reaching 16.
It'll be a series of late nights for golf obsessives, with Woods teeing off after 10pm UK time on Thursday, but if the final round produces drama akin to the 2010 renewal at Pebble Beach, the lack of sleep will have been worthwhile.
Back then, Graeme McDowell pounced on Dustin Johnson's meltdown to win - will Northern Ireland again be celebrating come Monday?
Best bet: Patrick Cantlay to win
By Ben Coley
Patrick Cantlay has an outstanding chance to win the US Open at Pebble Beach. A Californian who made his return to professional golf here in 2017, he's among the most in-form players in the field after winning last time out and has played well at both majors already this year. He also has the most complete game in the sport, ideal for such a demanding test, and a solid start should see him bang in contention come the weekend.
When: Friday June 14
Where: Southampton
TV: Sky Sports Cricket with highlights on Channel 4
Sky Bet odds: England 1/3, West Indies 5/2
England's World Cup campaign continues in Southampton on Friday as they face a dangerous West Indies side, spearheaded by Chris Gayle.
With Eoin Morgan's England favourites to lift the trophy and boasting one of the deepest batting line-ups in cricket, Gayle may have to be at his best if West Indies are to repeat their victory over Pakistan on the second day of the tournament.
Hosts England followed a surprising defeat to Pakistan with a crushing victory over Bangladesh on Saturday and will look to follow it up here and further cement their place amongst those all-important top-four places.

Football - Copa America
When: June 14-July 7
Where: Brazil
TV: Premier Sports
Sky Bet odds: 5/4 Brazil, 7/2 Argentina, 13/2 Uruguay, 9/1 Colombia
Hosts Brazil will start as favourites when the Copa America begins on Friday - although the first match is in fact in the early hours of Saturday morning for UK viewers.
The tournament gets under way with Brazil versus Bolivia, but their chief rivals for outright glory look to be Argentina, Uruguay and Colombia, according to the betting.
Lionel Messi will look to capitalise on another chance to earn silverware for Argentina, who have been runners-up three times since he made his debut in the white and blue.
Best bet: Venezuela to win the Copa America (each-way) at 40/1
Racing - York and Sandown
When: Saturday June 15
Where: Sandown Park and York Racecourse
TV: ITV Racing and Racing TV
Sky Bet odds
It's a fairly low-key weekend in the world of thoroughbred horse racing as build-up to Royal Ascot takes place on the gallops rather than the track.
Still, action at Sandown and York is the focus of a busy Saturday which also takes in Chester, Bath and Hexham, before cards at Leicester and Worcester in the evening.
Our coverage includes the best bets from ITV Racing presenter Oli Bell and racing commentator Simon Holt, plus Ben Linfoot's latest Value Bet column.
Best bets: Will appear here on Friday
Racing - Newbury and Leopardstown
When: Thursday June 13
Where: Newbury and Leopardstown
TV: Racing TV
Sky Bet odds
Thursday's racing programme provides some quality action courtesy of Newbury and Leopardstown in particular.
At Newbury, the Abingdon Stakes is a Listed contest for fillies which was won last year by subsequent Arc de Triomphe runner-up, Sea Of Class - will another star be lurking amongst the field?
Meanwhile, over in Ireland and into the evening, the Ballycorus Stakes could see popular veteran Gordon Lord Byron take his chance in what looks a quality affair.
Best bets: Will appear here on Wednesday
